Welcome to the Boron Nitride Workshop 2024 (BNW2024)

The 2024 Boron Nitride Workshop (BNW2024) will be held at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Sydney, Australia, May 21st – May 24th, inclusive.

We are likely to have a welcome reception on May 20th (TBC) and we strongly encourage you all to stay for the weekend to enjoy Sydney and what it has to offer.

Conference Organizers

Igor Aharonovich(University of Technology Sydney, Australia)

Joshua Caldwell – (Vanderbilt University, USA)

Guillaume Cassabois – (Montpellier University, France)

The BNW series

The inaugural Boron Nitride Workshop series is dedicated entirely to boron nitride, and the inaugural meeting was held in Montpellier in 2023 (https://bnw2023.sciencesconf.org/). Over the last several years the BN community has grown immensely, and BN has become a material of choice for applications spanning electronics, polaritonics, lighting, imaging, quantum, biology, materials science and theory. We hence decided to continue this meeting series with focus on all science and technology related to BN.

Our aim is to create a long standing community, and grow it over years and decades to come.

The BNW2024 workshop is also supported by TMOS – the ARC Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems.
